Bellany has the much-appreciated jumper bloodlines through his close relationship to René Tebbel’s Ramiro’s Son I as well as Sören von Rönne’s Ramiro’s Son II and Delta’s Bubka.
The sire Bon Coeur, himself a two-time Vice-Bundeschampion and now successful in advanced dressage for Sweden, has already produced more than 25 licensed sons.
In the further generations, the breeding heroes De Niro, Langata Son, Pik Bube I, Moltke I and Farnese follow.
The granddam St.Pr.St. Langatia is half sister to Christine Stückelbergers/SUI Ramiro’s Bube and to the licensed Ramiro’s Boy.
Out of the Holstein line 5421 there are the licensed stallions Don Crusador, Hohenstaufen and Quantensprung.
Bellany has a very good work attitude. Bellany left the 2019 Oldenburg licensing as celebrated champion stallion and completed his stallion performance test in Schlieckau with expected highlights: 9.0 for his powerful uphill canter and rideability, 8.5 for his trot, his interior, his willingness to perform and his character. With an overall score of 8.34, he ranked fifth in a closely matched top group.
Oldenburg’s Breeding Director Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff said about the champion stallion, “we saw a majestically raised young stallion, who has a wonderful movement in all three gaits. He presented himself great in all disciplines, convinced with a great charisma and always works with an energetic hind leg. The chestnut stallion comes from a dam line, which is highly successful in both dressage and jumping. So the best conditions for a great future.”
Balou’s Mother, St. Pr. Elite St. Farina M, born 2005, is a dream for every breeder. Farina M received her state premium certificate at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede, Oldenburg in 2008. Her pedigree is loaded with top performing horses.
Her father Fürst Heinrich was the Champion Sire in 2001, winner of the main premium in 2002, World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses in 2003. Fürst Heinrich has produced 54 licensed stallions in a very short breeding career. His number one offspring is Fürstenball, licensing and main premium champion, German champion and elite sire. He is also father to Fürst Romancier, main premium winner. Fürst Heinrich has also sired an impressive list of State Premium mares: Fantastica, Champion Mare of the 2005 Westphalen Elite Mare Show; Feh, 1d Premium Mare and Furstin, 1h Premium Mare at the 2005 Rheinland Elite Mare Show. Two of Fürst Heinrich daughters finished in the Brilliant Ring at the Oldenburger Elite Mare Show in Rastede; Herzfurstin was awarded 1d Premium at the 2006 Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar Elite Mare Show, Famagusta, 1j at the Rheinland Mare Show. One of the most prominent mares, Woodlander Farouche impressed the world when she won the World Breeding Championships in 2011 at five years old.
Farina M’s mother Feerie of Saint Cloud (Trak.) delivered with Rubinstein two PSG/Inter II horses. Feerie’s son of Donnerhall, Don Juan M, was successful in the German Championship and competed successfully in M competitions until he had to stop competing due to an injury. Farina’s full sister Florentin M was also awarded St. Pr. St.
Grandmother of Farina M, is the famous Flair by Fruelingstraum I. This mare won over 100.000 Euro in international Grand Prix starts, with her rider H. Muenstermann. Flair participated in 3 World Cup Finals where she was placed within the first 10 participants every time .
