Sonatine is a daughter of Sir Donnerhall. Sir Donnerhall was second Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2003, winner of his stallion performance test and awarded the Ia main premium in 2005 and became German Champion and Vice World Champion (5 y.o.) in 2006. He is now trained to advanced level. Due to the high breeding demands, he was no longer in competitions. He is father to many top breeding mares and stallions. He has produced 101 licensed stallions, including numerous champion and premium stallions as well as Sir Olli, bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses. Many of Sir Donnerhall I’s daughters have produced licensed stallions, as can be seen in the Champion Stallions Bonds, Feinrich and For Romance I
Sonatine is granddaughter of Ehrentush, Ehrentusch was the champion of the 1987 stallion performance test at Warendorf finishing first in both the dressage and jumping sections. At the 1989 DLG show is Frankfurt, he was reserve champion to Weltmeyer. Ehrentusch has been a consistent sire of young horses at the Bundeschampionate – including Ecciavelle, Euro Design, I Cestelli and Espania. He has also produced a number of top priced auction horses and 33 state premium mare.
